About the life of Ji Fa who took his brother's place as a hostage in Zhaoge, and his rise as a legendary Emperor. Prince of Xiqi State. Second son of King Wen of Zhou and Tai Si. Later the King Wu of Zhou.
The story is set towards the end of the Shang Dynasty, a time often revisited to tell the story of an incompetent king who led his nation to its downfall. Ji Fa is a man who endeavors to make a change as he enlists the help of powerful people to achieve his vision.

he series is set in the later years of Shang dynasty, and revolves around Ji Fa's life as a hostage in Zhaoge and his journey to become a legendary ruler. It involves fantasy elements originating from Investiture of the GodsPrince of Xiqi State. Second son of King Wen of Zhou and Tai Si. Later the King Wu of Zhou. He was held as a hostage in Zhaoge. Possessing great magnanimity and lofty ambitions, he later becomes a great ruler. 



·       Chong Er's Preach  (697–628 ) 2019
Duke Wen of Jin (697–628 BC), born Chong'er, was a scion of the royal house of Jin during the Spring and Autumn Periodof Chinese history. He famously endured a long period of exile from his realm before finally being restored to power (r. 636–628 BC) and rapidly leading Jin to hegemony over the other Chinese states of his time. The television series follows the story of the Duke Wen of Jin from exile to later ascending the throne to become king.

It is loosely based on the life of the ancient Chinese militarist Sun Tzu, who wrote The Art of War.

Wu Zixu settles in the Wu state with help from Sun Wu and Wujiu.
Tragically, the situation in Qi deteriorates to the point of armed conflict, when the Sun clan massacres the Guo and Gao clans overnight in a military coup. Wujiu escapes from Qi and since then he sees Sun Wu as a bitter rival and sworn enemy. Wujiu settles in the Chu state and becomes a general. On the other hand, Sun Wu is devastated by the sudden twist of events and wanders around until he finally settles in the Wu state. Through Wu Zixu, Sun Wu is introduced to King Helü of Wu, who puts him in charge of Wu's military. Sun Wu begins his illustrious career by writing The Art of War and displaying his genius in leading the Wu forces to victory in battles against rival states.

Meanwhile, in the Chu state, Wu Zixu becomes a fugitive after his father is wrongly accused of treason and his entire family is exterminated by the incompetent King Ping of Chu.
During the Spring and Autumn period in ancient China, the four great clans in the Qi state compete among themselves to win a dominant position in politics. Despite the animosity between their respective fathers, Sun Wu and Guo Wujiu develop a close friendship, and they are tutored in military strategy by the renowned militarist Tian Rangju.


The war between the states of Yue and Wu is the subject of three television series:
·       The Conquest, a 2006 China and Hong Kong co-produced television series, starring Damian Lau and Joe Ma as Goujian and Fuchai respectively.
·       The Rebirth of a King, a 2006 Chinese television series starring Chen Baoguo and You Yong as Goujian and Fuchai respectively. based on the life of King Goujianof the state of Yue in the Spring and Autumn period
·       The Great Revival, a 2007 Chinese television series, starring Chen Daoming and Hu Jun as Goujian and Fuchai respectively
Goujian, the king of the Kingdom Yue as it referred to his perseverance despite becoming a slave and prisoner of war to the king of Wei. To gain the the trust of the king of Wei he slept on brushwood, even eating the other king’s dung in order to gain his trust and return to his native country and then eventually after 10 years he secretly rebuilt his kingdom and annexed Wei and forced the King of Wei to commit suicide. (Of course he did that using a honey trap by sending the Xi Shi who was rumored to be the most beautiful woman in chinese history to seduce the king of Wei)

literally Sun Tzu's The Art of War and the Thirty-Six Stratagems, is a Chinese television series first broadcast in 2000. Set in the Warring States period of ancient China, the series tells the story of Sun Bin, a descendant of Sun Tzu, and his rival Pang Juan.

 life of great Chinese poet Qu Yuan from the Warring States Period (475-221BC) Though the series premiered with 2.18% ratings and ranked first in its time slot, its ratings rapidly dropped in the next few episodes. It was criticized for distortion of history, absurd plot and characters as well as poor CG effects.

She was sent to Qin as a concubine and part of her sister Mi Shu's dowry, separating her from first love Huang Xie. King Ying Si passes away while his sons are still battling for the throne, and ultimately, Ying Dang comes out as the successor.
Mi Yue enlists the help of the "barbarian" Yiqu army, successfully returning to Qin,     suppressing political revolts and instates her son Ying Ji on the throne. Mi Yue goes on to become the first Empress Dowager (Empress Mother) in China’s history.

The series is set in the mid fourth century BC during the Warring States period of China. The Qin state in western China has been weakened by years of poverty and internal conflict. It is now in peril of being conquered by the other six major states in the east. Duke Xiao, the new ruler of Qin, seeks to restore his state to its former glory (during Duke Mu's time) and retake the Qin territories lost to the Wei state in earlier battles.
In his quest to recruit talents to assist him, Duke Xiao promises to share Qin with anyone – including foreigners – who could help him realise his grand ambitions. He attracts the attention of Wei Yang, a Legalist searching for opportunities to test his ideas. After discussing for three days and three nights on end, the two men develop a close relationship and work together over the next two decades to push forth a series of groundbreaking sociopolitical reforms in Qin. The reforms transform Qin into a powerful state and helped to lay the foundation for Qin's eventual unification of China under the Qin dynasty nearly 200 years later.

Yi Xiaochuan finds a tiger pendant by coincidence and the pendant sears a mark onto his chest when he wears it on his neck. Meanwhile, Xiaochuan's elder brother, Yi Dachuan, discovers a 2,000-year-old treasure box at an excavation site. Xiaochuan unlocks the box with his pendant and opens a time portal by accident. Unknown to everyone else, he is transported back in time to the Qin dynasty together with Gao Yao, his girlfriend's brother.

Han Liu Bang (202-195) 1998 = Emperor Gaozu of Han.
The Chu–Han Contention (206–202 BC) was an interregnum between the Qin dynasty and the Han dynasty in Chinese history. Following the collapse of the Qin dynasty in 206 BC, Xiang Yu split the former Qin Empire into the Eighteen Kingdoms. Two major contending powers emerged, Western Chu and Han, which engaged in a struggle for supremacy over China. Western Chu was led by Xiang Yu, while the Han leader was Liu Bang. Several minor kings also warred, but these were largely independent of the main conflict between Western Chu and Han. The war ended in 202 BC with total victory for Han, with Liu Bang soon proclaiming himself first emperor of the Han dynasty.

·       The Battlefield is a 1985 Hong Kong television series produced by TVB. Lawrence Ng and Shek Sau starred as Liu Bang and Xiang Yu respectively.
·       The Story of Han Dynasty is a 2003 Chinese television series. Hu Jun and Xiao Rongsheng starred as Xiang Yu and Liu Bang respectively.[5]
·       The Conqueror's Story is a 2004 Hong Kong television series produced by TVB. Adam Cheng and Kwong Wah starred as Liu Bang and Xiang Yu respectively.
·       In the tenth episode of Code Geass, the protagonist refers to the Battle of Wei River as inspiration for triggering a landslide during a battle.
·       The Myth is a 2010 Chinese television series adapted from the 2005 film of the same title. A present-day photographer travels back in time and meets Liu Bang and Xiang Yu and becomes sworn brothers with them.
·       King's War is a 2012 Chinese television series directed by Gao Xixi. Chen Daoming and Peter Ho starred as Liu Bang and Xiang Yu respectively.
·       Chu Han Zhengxiong is a 2012 Chinese television series directed by Chen Jialin. Anthony Wong and Ren Chengwei played Liu Bang and Xiang Yu respectively.
·       Beauties of the Emperor is a 2012 Chinese television series produced by Yu Zheng. It romanticises the life stories of Liu Bang and Xiang Yu (played by Luo Jin and Ming Dow respectively), with the focus on Liu Bang's wife Lü Zhi (played by Joe Chen), who loves and desires both of the two men.
·       History of a Salaryman is a 2012 South Korean television series that aired on SBS. The 22-episode series, which satirises key historical figures of the Chu–Han Contention, is about an ordinary salaryman who gets involved in corporate espionage between rival pharmaceutical companies.
·       The Han Triumph (202-195) 2011 The Han Triumph, also known as Wind Ode, is a Chinese television series based on historical events in the early Han dynasty, beginning with the founding of the dynasty by Liu Bang (Emperor Gao) after his triumph over Xiang Yu, and the events leading to the reign of Liu Heng (Emperor Wen).


Beauty's Rival in Palace 2010 Emperor Wen of Han (202 BC – 6 July 157 BC) was the fifth emperor of the Han dynasty of ancient China. His personal name was Liu HengEmpress Dowager Wang Zhi and Zhou Yafu, were reminiscing the past, when a group of young girls who just entered the palace as maiden-in-waiting are presented to Yifang and one of them is Wei Zifu, the future Empress Wei, the wife of Emperor Wu. 


The Fated General 140-117 Huo Qubing Huo Qubing (140 BC – 117 BC) was a distinguished military general of the Western Han dynasty during the reign of Emperor Wu of Han. He was the nephew of the general Wei Qing and Empress Wei Zifu (Emperor Wu's wife)

Jin Yu (Cecilia Liu), an orphan girl of Xiongnu ethnicity, was raised by wolves in the desert, until a Han Chinesedecided to adopt her. Two years later, following the death of her adoptive father due to political changes, she decides to follow the man's wish and flees to Jian'an, the capital of Western Han Dynasty  Extensive changes were thus required, resetting the entire premise to take place in a fictional era in a fictional country. Character names from the novel which were based on Chinese historical figures were changed, and dialogues and subtitling were revised

Sima Yi's early career under Cao Cao, the warlord who controls the central government and the figurehead Emperor Xian of Han – last emperor

The series follows the life of Sima Yi through the late Eastern Han dynasty and Three Kingdoms period of China.
The first part covers Sima Yi's early career under Cao Cao, the warlord who controls the central government and the figurehead Emperor Xian towards the end of the Eastern Han dynasty. Sima Yi becomes an adviser to Cao Cao's son Cao Pi and assists him in defeating his younger brother Cao Zhi in a power struggle over the succession to their father's place. Following Cao Cao's death, Cao Pi usurps the throne from Emperor Xian, ends the Eastern Han dynasty, and declares himself emperor of the newly established Cao Wei state. This part ends around the middle or towards the end of Cao Pi's reign.
The second part covers Sima Yi's career in the Cao Wei state during the Three Kingdoms period and his service under the emperors Cao Pi, Cao Rui and Cao Fang. He leads Cao Wei forces into battles against its rival states, Shu Han and Eastern Wu, and rises through the ranks to become one of the most powerful figures in Cao Wei and ultimately a regent for the third Cao Wei emperor, Cao Fang. In his final years, Sima Yi successfully stages a coup d'état against his co-regent Cao Shuangand effectively becomes the de facto ruler of the Cao Wei state. About 15 years after Sima Yi's death, his grandson Sima Yanwould eventually usurp the Cao Wei throne and replace it with the Jin dynasty (265–420).
Notable actors who have portrayed Sima Yi on screen include: Wei Zongwan, in Romance of the Three Kingdoms (1994); Ni Dahong, in Three Kingdoms (2010); Eric Li, in Three Kingdoms RPG (2012); Wu Xiubo, in The Advisors Alliance (2017); and Elvis Han, in Secret of the Three Kingdoms (2018).

·       Zhuge Liang (TV series) 1985
Zhuge Liang is a Chinese television series based on the life of Zhuge Liang, a chancellor (or prime minister) of the state of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms period. The plot is based on stories about Zhuge Liang in the 14th-century historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Luo Qingchuan (Yang Mi) is a girl from the 21st century. One day she accidentally travels through time and ends up returning to the Qing Dynasty, during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor. She becomes embroiled in the princes' struggle for the throne and is torn between her love for Yin Si (Feng Shaofeng), the eighth prince, and Yin Zhen (Mickey He), the fourth prince and future Emperor Yong Zheng.
